Half and Half
This project was really fun to do. It involved combining two images together to create one whole concept. I used photoshop for this project and learned many blending techniques over the course of this project. 
Juxtaposition
This project was about putting different images together to create a creative and odd sense of story. Each design board had to be in black and white and consist of high quality images off the Internet, in books, and magazines. The catch was each board had to consist of two out of six different elements: something large made small, something small made large, obvious color made black and white, handmade mark, found typography and an absurd juxtaposition. The most difficult part of this project for me was using the elements and incorporating them into my ideas. Overall I really liked this project and found it interesting and fun to do.
This project entailed making fifteen original designs that metaphorically communicate certain topics. Each design board was 6” x 9” and used the same color palette plus black and white. The designs were constructed using cut out paper. Some important things to take into consideration while creating these designs were scale, repetition, balance, and emphasis. After looking at my final product I noticed most of my designs were the around the same scale. In future projects I will take scale into consideration much more.
